The effects of accelerators, fluorides, Mn2+, Ni2+, Zn2+, PO4 and Fe2+ on the phosphating process of aluminum alloy were investigated by means of SEM, XRD, potential time curve and film weight change. The results show that guanidine nitrate has the characteristics of good water solubility, low dosage and rapid film formation. It is an effective promoter for phosphating of aluminum die casting mold.

Fluoride can promote the film, increase the coating weight, grain refinement; Mn2+ and Ni2+ can refine the grains, the phosphating film is uniform and compact and can improve the film appearance; when the Zn2+ concentration is relatively low, not into the film or film, with the increase of Zn2+ concentration, membrane weight increased; the content of PO4 on the effect of phosphating film weight the larger, increase PO4. The content of phosphating film is increased.

Alkaline electrolytic polishing process of aluminium
