Shirley temple's rare blue diamond was auction
Shirley Temple Black, mostly known as a childhood film talent from the 1930s, died in February 2014. Soon after, the dazzling blue diamond ring Temple had worn most of her life was sold to a private buyer. However, that buyer is now putting it back up for auction. Sotheby's, the well-known fine arts and jewelry auctioneer handling the sale, states the ring was originally a gift to Ms. Temple from her from her father when she was around twelve years old. It is estimated to be sold for between 25 and 35 million dollars.
