Zinc-aluminum alloy die casting mold needs to be well maintained in order to improve its service life, so regular maintenance is particularly important. Secondly, the custody of the mold should be consistent with the accounts, drawings, files, etc., the mold can not be separated and stored to avoid the loss of parts, and the zinc alloy die casting mold that is not used for a long time should be regularly treated with antirust treatment. The new mold shall be maintained as far as possible within the specified period.
First, the maintenance of the mold:
1. Clean the upper and lower surfaces of the mold before mounting the mold to ensure that the mounting surface of the mold and the working table of the press are not damaged by compression and the parallelism of the upper and lower mounting surfaces of the mold in production;
2. After the mold is installed, open the mold and clean the parts of the mold, especially the guide mechanism. For the surface parts of the mold, the surface should be cleaned to ensure the quality of the die casting parts.
3. Lubricate the sliding parts of the mold and apply grease;
4. Check all parts of the mold, especially the pressing plate and the nozzle should be correct.
II. Maintenance in production:
1. Oiling the corresponding parts of the mold regularly during production. Such as: drawing die of the press ring, fillet; The edge of the trimming die; Flanging knife block part, etc.
2. Regularly clean the hole waste passage of the die casting mold.
