Maintenance after casting production

1. After the end of production, the mold should be comprehensively checked; 
2. Clean the mold comprehensively to ensure the cleanliness of the mold; 
3. Clean up the waste in the mold; 
4. Feedback the use status and the situation after use of die casting molds to the Resume of Use of Mold faithfully. 
The secondary maintenance of the die casting mold:

The secondary maintenance of die casting molds refers to the regular and systematic maintenance of the molds according to the technical state and complexity of the molds.  The maintenance work is completed by the mold repairman, and the record is made according to the maintenance situation.  The following describes the requirements and methods of the second protection for different parts:

1. The main problem is the embossing of the drawing die and the surface. The main part of the round corner drawing die of the die is polished during maintenance.  If there is a pressure pit to the die casting mold for repair welding, and then repair; 
2. Guide parts (guide post, guide sleeve and guide plate, etc.) : there will be pull marks and other phenomena in the work of die casting mold.  The main reasons are dirty lubricating oil and guide clearance deviation.  When the guide parts produce pull marks, the method of polishing after pushing with an oil stone is adopted to eliminate them.
3. Edge trimming:the edge of the die casting mold is prone to edge collapse and edge collapse in the process of use. At this time, the damaged parts of the mold should be repaired by welding.


4. Spring and other elastic parts: In the process of use, the spring is one of the most easily damaged parts of the mold, usually fracture and deformation phenomenon.  The way to take is to replace, but in the process of replacement, we must pay attention to the specifications and models of the spring. The specifications and models of the spring are determined by the color, outer diameter and length. Only in the case of the three are the same, can we replace them.

5. Punch and punch sleeve: Most of the punch and punching sleeve used on the die casting mold are standard parts. The punch of the mold is easy to break, bend and bite in the process of use, and the punching sleeve is generally gnawed.  The damage of punch and punch sleeve is generally replaced with parts of the same specification.  The parameters of the punch mainly include the size of the working part, the size of the installation part and the size of the length.

6. Fastening parts: Check whether the fastening parts are loose or damaged.  The way to take is to find the same specifications of parts for replacement; 

7. Pressing and unloading parts: Pressing parts such as pressing plate, Youli glue, unloading parts such as unloading plate, pneumatic jacking device, etc.  Check whether the assembly relationship of each part is damaged during maintenance, and repair the damaged part;  Check whether there is air leakage phenomenon of pneumatic jacking, and take measures for the specific situation.  If the trachea is damaged, it should be replaced.
