Duan Xiangqing, born in 1986, spent several yearsas a civil servant in the Quality and TechnologySupervision Bureau in a city in eastern China'sShandong province.
In 2015, Duan gave up her "gold rice bowl" of agovernment job and came instead to Rizhao, aseaside city in Shandong. She started her ownbusiness and has achieved great success by sellingfried melon seeds online. Now, she is a star WeChatshop owner.
