What is spinning?
Spinning is to fix the flat or hollow blank on the die of the spinning machine. While the blank rotates with the main shaft of the bed, the blank is pressed with a rotary wheel or a rod to cause local plastic deformation. Under the combined action of the feeding motion of the rotary wheel and the rotating motion of the blank, the local plastic deformation is gradually extended to the entire surface of the blank, and it is closely attached to the mold to complete the spinning process of the part.
Spinning is a special forming method. The process of deep drawing, flanging, shrinking, bulging and curling of rotating bodies of various shapes can be completed by the spinning method.
Classification of spinning:
Fold by spindle position
Horizontal spinning machine: a horizontal spinning machine with the main shaft in the horizontal direction is called a horizontal spinning machine
Vertical spinning machine: a vertical spinning machine with the main shaft in the vertical direction is called a vertical spinning machine
Number of Folding Press Wheels
Single wheel spinning machine: A spinning machine with only one wheel is called a single wheel spinning machine
Double wheel spinning machine: a spinning machine with two wheels is called a double wheel spinning machine
Three-wheel spinning machine: those with three spinning wheels are called three-wheel spinning machines? Multi-wheel spinning machines: those with more than three spinning wheels are called multi-wheel spinning machines
Relative position of folding mandrel
External spinning machine: a spinning machine that spins the workpiece from the outside
Internal Spinning Machine: Spinning in which the rotary wheel spins the workpiece from the inside
Folding in the direction of metal flow
Positive spin: Spinning in which the direction of metal flow is the same as that of the spinning wheel
Counter-spin: spinning in which the direction of metal flow is opposite to that of the spinning wheel
Forward and reverse spin: Spinning in which the metal flows in two directions during the spinning process
