If You are an investor looking for the "Next Big Thing", Magnesium appear to be one of the biggest investment opportunity of this century. Worlds largest companies are using magnesium alloy .
The revolutionary magnesium material can be used to create new revolutionary cars, airplanes, trains, military equipment's, ships, mining and drilling equipment's, all transportation trucks, agriculture machinery, manufacturing and spaceships, electronics and biomedical devices. It is the new and the most  important material from the future, a material that could catapult us onto the next level.
The magnesium based material was invented by a team of researchers from the Henry Samueli School of Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Los Angeles (UCLA. The innovative material which has an exceptional strength and is extremely lightweight is made of 86% of magnesium, and 14% of silicon carbide particles according to the study published by the journal Nature. To create the so-called ‘nanocomposite metal’, the team developed a new method to disperse and stabilize nanoparticles in molten metals. The low density and high strength of magnesium showed record levels of specific resistance (amount of weight that resists material before breaking) and specific module (ratio between rigidity and weight) in both low and high temperatures.
Australian and Chinese researchers have discovered an Magnesium alloy that they say is the world's strongest and lightest. Crucially, they say it doesn't corrode.
If it proves possible to use it in vehicle manufacturing, the researchers say cars could weigh hundreds of kilograms less, saving motorists up to 40 per cent on fuel.
Researchers from North Carolina State University have developed a material using magnesium which is light like aluminum, but as strong as titanium alloys. This material has the highest strength-to-weight ratio known to mankind.
Creating a material that’s both strong and lightweight is the ultimate goal for all global manufacturers. Recently, magnesium alloys have gained huge attention as world’s lightest structural material. Nanotechnology is helping revolutionize many technology and industry sectors, information technology, energy, environmental science, medicine, homeland security, food safety, and transportation, among many others.
Apple currently uses a Magnesium frame in their iBook laptop. Dell notebook 14 Rugged Extreme will be your saving grace. This mini tank sports a military-tough design, complete with a magnesium alloy chassis and the ability to shrug off water, sand and dust.
Microsoft has designed the Pro 3 as a 2-in-1 hybrid device so it’s the bigger device on test. The Surface Pro 3 has a unique kickstand built into its chassis so it can be propped up on tables or even on your lap.
The Pro 3 is made from a premium Magnesium-alloy material and this houses a sublime 12in display (2,160 x 1,440) with a density of 216 pixels-per-inch (ppi). This makes it ideal for a wide variety of tasks from detailed productivity work to watching multimedia.
Lenovo has made some bold moves in recent years, but a strategic partnership with Japanese manufacturer NEC may be one of the most stunning, bringing U.S. markets the lightest laptop PCs money can buy.
The new Lenovo LaVie laptops bring NEC's super-light laptop designs to U.S. shores under the Lenovo name, and will be sold this May
The lightness is due to three primary factors, namely the use of a super-light magnesium-lithium alloy throughout the chassis, innovative manufacturing processes that remove excess material, and much smaller batteries made possible by the improved energy efficiency of Intel's fifth-generation Core i5 and Core i7 processors.
Samsung, best known for its smartphones, also makes good cameras. Its latest, the NX1, continues that trend.
In typical Samsung fashion, the NX1 is packed with features, which include an autofocusing (AF) system with 205 phase-detection AF points, 15 frames per second (fps) continuous shooting speed, 4K (4,096 x 2,160 pixels) and UHD (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) video-recording, built-in Bluetooth, Near Field Communication and Wi-Fi. All this in a dust- and water-resistant magnesium body
New Magnesium based alloy as World's strongest and lightest metal to change the world.
Researchers from North Carolina State University have developed a material using magnesium which is light like aluminum, but as strong as titanium alloys. This material has the highest strength-to-weight ratio known to mankind.

German high-tech medical equipment company AAP Implantate is forward-thinking in its approach to medical magnesium alloy technology and its world-class portfolio includes bone cement, bone graft substitutes, antibiotic carriers and implants used for bone fracture healing and joint replacement.

Michele Manuel, professor of materials science and engineering at the University of Florida has developed a surgical pin made from magnesium and is working to control the rate at which the pin degrades in the body. In laboratory tests, the pin offers several advantages over the plastic and stainless steel or titanium pins currently used. The magnesium pin not only biodegrades but also aids healing. Magnesium builds bone, so it can function both as a pin and as a nutrient.
